About Me

Greetings blog readers and welcome to my little corner of the internet! : )

If this is your first time visiting my blog, I encourage you to have a look around as there is a plethora of interesting projects for you to look at, laugh at, and who knows, maybe you’ll even like something. [Just a note, if you click on the big, bold text at the top of the page that says, "The Kerminator's Blog," you can go to my blog home page and browse all my postings].

So! My name is Sara…I like to go by “The Kerrminator” in the internet world because it’s catchy and memorable. As you may have guessed, I’m an artist. I make shite. Sometimes I finish it, sometimes it collects dust. If you are curious about what I’m all about as an artist, I encourage you to read my artist statement and check out my website, www.thekerrminator.com. [FYI - my face in the top left corner of the page is my "magic portal" to my website and once you're there, you can click on my face again (right sidebar) and it will bring you back to my most recent blog posting].

Some other random stuff you may not know about me:

  1. I hated art as a child, but loved to draw.
  2. I like thinking about doing things more than actually doing them and sometimes I get confused when I dream that I did something, but wake up and can’t remember whether I actually did it, or just dreamed it.
  3. I was Valedictorian of my high school class, but didn’t go to college.
  4. My right leg is 8mm longer than the left.
  5. I love singing, but hate singing in front of people.
  6. I’ve been living in Portland, Oregon for about 2 years (since spring 2010), but I’m originally from Upstate New York.
  7. George Carlin inspires me to “tell it like it is.”

If you want to get to know me more, you can friend me on facebook or leave comments below – I love conversing with fellow artists, art lovers, and even art haters because arguments are exhilarating! I look forward to your comments, questions, critiques, and inquiries!

Best Regards,

Sara Kerr
